RIU PALACE COSTA MUJERES - JUNIOR SUITE WITH PARTIAL SEA VIEW
Welcome back to our channel Where we going Next?
We are finishing off our resort tour series at the RIU Palace Costa Mujeres with a room tour. In this video, we’re touring a Junior Suite with partial sea view. Overall, we loved how open and spacious the room felt. We were able to configure our double beds in to one large “king” bed - and found the beds to be firm, yet comfortable! The staff did an excellent job of cleaning the room and stocking the fridge with tons of drinks! Room service was also very generous with portion sizes - suffice to say we did not go hungry or thirsty during our stay LOL!

Was there any vegan options in the buffet? Diary allergy is the main thing really. I know the premium buffet does but just wondering if these areas have any options for that stuff.
Nothing was labeled specifically vegan - but there were many vegetable options that looked dairy free. You can ask your waiter to help you navigate the buffet with the help of one of the chefs.

We are looking for good food as well.
Kukulkan will probably have a bit better food and selection.. definitely a more up-scale environment and vibe. Caribe is young, relaxed and fun. Depends what kind of vacation you want. Also, Kukulkan is adults-only and Caribe is a family resort.

We didn’t get a chance to experience the elite club, but you can see all of the benefits on their website

This hotel is a joke, if you want to waste your money you will be in the right place, it is very far from being 5 stars I would say 3 stars at most, the food is terrible, no variety, they charge you an extra fee when you arrive and it has Boutique prices, everything with poor quality, it is dirty and you can see the lack of maintenance throughout the hotel... the cocktail bar is terrible in a few words, but I will never return to this place, 100% disappointment. June 14, 2024

Going woth a group of friends and cant make my mind up riu Palace mexico or riu Palace Riviera Maya? We like to party. Whats your thoughts?
Both of those are quiet resorts and didn’t offer much entertainment when we were there. You can visit the other Rius in the complex for a party vibe (a few minutes walk down the road). RP Riviera Maya is more updated so we prefer that one.
Can you request an adult only room while you book or do you have to wait until you check into the hotel
It doesn’t look like you can book it right on their site 🤔 it looks like they’ve changed some things on their website and added some room categories since we’ve been there… I would email them first to inquire which category of rooms is available in the adults-only section before booking and then see if they can reserve one for you before you arrive. You can also do this at check-in, but it would suck to book a more expensive room if that type of room is not available in that section.
The loud obnoxious music at the pool starts at 8am and can easily wake you up since the rooms are right next to it. Hardly a vacation if I can't sleep.
Comparing the Akumal, Coba and Tulum, which one do you recommend for two young adults in regards to the most inclusivity and first international trip alone? (Two sisters)
We recommend Akumal! It has so much to offer - plus you have access to the other two resorts as well 👍🏻 it also has the best beach out of the three

Just wondered how far is the beach from the hotel? Is the hotel a quiet retreat?
The beach is about a 10-15 minute golf cart ride away. Yes, the resort is pretty quiet and secluded.
No flip flops is a deal breaker for me. Im from Arizona and all we wear is flip flops and sandals
